Our Team

Dr. Vijay Mahida, PE, PS, CPA, JD is EMLS’s President and fully responsible for the Firm’s Projects. Dr. Mahida has over fifty (50) years experience in engineering and land surveying. His most notable projects include the air rights survey for the Fort Shelby hotel; performing a boundary, topographical and construction survey for the Mercado sector of Mexicantown (Detroit, MI) and platting the Victoria Park subdivision in Detroit, and all surveying for the Troy School District Project. He has served for 11 years on the Michigan Board of Land Surveyors, which regulate the Practice of Surveying.
